We welcome inquiries and applications from all families with children ranging from 24 months to 14 years of age (toddlers through 8th grade). Toddler applicants must be 24 months of age by the beginning of the school year in order to be admitted.
Richmond Montessori School has rolling admission, which means we accept applications for our education programs throughout the year and accept students all year long.
The Admissions Committee carefully considers all applicants to Richmond Montessori School. We seek to enroll students whose families are committed to a private education and wish to be part of the Montessori community through Middle School. All parties – the child, the family and the school – are considered when determining the best match for enrollment.
When a space becomes available, an applicant in the waiting pool will be considered for that opening. Applications are accepted throughout the school year.
Richmond Montessori School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, or any other protected class in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic and other school-administered programs.
