Board of Trustees

RMS is governed by a Board of Trustees (Board). Its goal is to ensure effective, strategic and committed leadership enabling RMS to accomplish its mission and pursue its stated vision. The Board hires, supervises and supports the Head of School (Head). It establishes general policy, oversees finances and provides continuity and direction for the School.  Trustees serve RMS in multiple roles of governor, sponsor, ambassador and consultant.

The Board consists of up to 22 Board elected members, the current RMPA President (ex-officio) and the RMS Head (ex-officio). Each trustee is elected to hold office for a three-year term of service (unless elected to fill the remainder of a vacant term). The RMS bylaws stipulates a maximum of a nine-year term limit.
