Parents’ Association

During the school year, the Richmond Montessori Parents’ Association supports numerous fundraising endeavors. All proceeds from their effort going directly to programs and physical site improvements which benefit the RMS community.

Such events include:
  • An annual auction
  • Purchased lunch options
  • School Photos
  • The annual Book Fair
  • The sale of Spirit wear
  • Box Tops for Education collection

All fundraisers are planned and implemented by parent volunteers. Each year the RMPA has raised between $65,000 – $100,000. In May, the RMPA’s annual meeting occurs and funds are dispersed. To identify areas of need, RMPA leadership requests a “wish list” from school administration. After items on the “wish list” are funded, the RMPA has the discretion to allocate any remaining funds into RMS’s Capital Building Fund.

Lunch Options offered for 2011-2012 School Year
We are pleased to offer several purchased lunch options for RMS students for the 2011-2012 school year.  These lunch programs are  a fundraising vehicle for RMPA and ultimately support the school.
 
On Mondays and Wednesdays, Green Monkey lunches will be offered for purchase.  For information about the Green Monkey lunch option, click here.  Visit www.eatgreenmonkey.com for more details or to place your order.  We kindly request that you submit your order for the entire semester, if possible.  Please note that all placed orders will receive an email confirmation immediately.  If you do not receive a confirmation, you should resubmit your order.
 
On Fridays, we will continue to offer pizza with a new vendor, Frank’s West.  In addition to pizza, we have also added a turkey wrap to the menu of options.  Click here for the pizza/wrap order form.  Pizza and wrap orders should be placed for the entire year.
