Kristin earned her degree in English from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville before completing her AMI Montessori credential in Primary from the Montessori Institute of Atlanta. She has been a Montessori educator since 1995 and has been at Richmond Montessori School since 2007. Kristin's history with Richmond Montessori started in 1973 when she attended the school as a child. She also brings the perspective of a Montessori parent, having sent both of her children to RMS. She has spent many years in the classroom as a Montessori primary teacher, and she is a certified Positive Discipline Educator. She is passionate about her work with students, teachers, and parents. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family.
