Lydia Aveson graduated from Christopher Newport University with a degree in Fine Arts, concentrating in painting. A graduate of Collegiate School in Richmond, she credits her independent school education as the catalyst for pursuing a career that combines her love of art with her passion for education. Lydia is excited to be joining Richmond Montessori School as an Assistant Teacher and Montessori Enrichment Carousel instructor. Prior to joining RMS, Lydia gained experience working with children in summer and afterschool programs. In her free time, she enjoys painting, gardening, and spending time with loved ones, including her pet rabbit, Daisy.
