Cassidy joined the Richmond Montessori community in 2017. He graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a degree in mathematics. He completed his Virginia Teaching Licensure for Secondary Mathematics at the University of Virginia at Wise in 2018 and completed his Secondary I/II Montessori Teaching Credential at the Houston Montessori Center. Prior to RMS, he taught mathematics and physical education at New Vistas School for two years in Lynchburg, VA. When he’s not teaching mathematics, he enjoys playing board games, kayaking the James, playing disc golf, and dancing to live music.
