Aves comes to Montessori with a background in mental health care and is excited to begin their next year teaching toddlers. They find joy in supporting children’s growth, especially by modeling social-emotional skills and encouraging language development. Outside the classroom, Aves is completing a bachelor’s degree in Sociology at VCU and enjoys spending time outdoors, crafting, exploring bugs, and relaxing with loved ones—including their cat, Kajol.
