I am a Montessori educator with 28 years of classroom experience, holding a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and certifications in Early Childhood and Infant-Toddler education. I spent 16 years teaching at Richmond Montessori before continuing my work in Florida, and I’m excited to return to the Richmond Montessori community.
As both a teacher and a mother of three, I bring a deeply personal connection to Montessori principles. My children attended Richmond Montessori and have grown into capable, compassionate, and successful adults—an experience that continues to shape my approach in the classroom. I am passionate about creating beautiful, prepared environments that foster independence, curiosity, and respect. Outside the classroom, I enjoy yoga, painting, gardening, and hiking.
