Morina has lived in Richmond for the past 12 years and comes from a multicultural background, including French and Nigerian heritage. She spent part of her childhood living in the Philippines. Morina graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Social Welfare. After college Morina worked with children in multiple capacities, including assistant teaching, tutoring in Richmond Public Schools, and working as a family consultant for a foster care organization. Morina earned her Montessori diploma in Early Childhood from the Washington Montessori Institute in Maryland.
