What’s something you love seeing students get excited about?
I love seeing children get excited about nature-- bugs, worms, pine cones, gardening, puddles! I love it and it is so much fun to share with children.
What completely random topic could you give a 10-minute presentation about with no preparation?
Far too many things: deep sea gigantism, the butternut tree, finding the perfect rock, beginning DIY projects with 100% confidence and zero know-how.
If you could bring back one trend from your childhood, what would it be?
The tamagotchi-- I think I finally have what it takes to raise a digital pet into adulthood.
If someone handed you your dream gift tomorrow, what would it be?
A three piece crocodile garden statue that makes it look like a crocodile is swimming in your garden.
