What was the best trip you’ve ever been on, and what made it so memorable?
Two years ago, I went to Zurich, Switzerland, on a last minute business trip with my husband. It was my first time traveling from North America, and since I only had a few days notice, my daughter and I had to improvise for most of the trip- deciding where to visit, learning the rail system, and how to layer for temperatures ranging from 80 degrees in Zurich to 25 degrees at 10,000 feet! It was a beautiful country, a beautiful adventure, and we know we will go back there one day
What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or day off?
I enjoy quiet time at home in my pajamas, drinking coffee, snuggling my cats, and writing on my iPad
What’s an experience you’ll never forget?
With my high school marching, we performed in the 3:00 parade in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. I will never forget the feeling of marching towards Cinderella's Castle with thousands of people lining the path. In band, I played the alto saxophone during concert season, but for football and parades, I twirled baton. I remember having to hop over the train tracks and watch out for the trashcans and small children. Afterwards, our entire band rode Splash Mountain to cool off! It was so hot
