Shannon Ciucci has worked with children since 2008, including as an Au Pair and nanny in various places around the United States and Europe. She moved to Richmond in 2015 and earned her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, at the University of Richmond. Shannon started as a substitute teacher at RMS in 2019, became a Lower Elementary Assistant Teacher in 2020, and immediately began her Montessori training. She has been a lead teacher since 2021. Shannon and her husband (RMS alum '01) welcomed their first child in November of 2024. As a family, they enjoy cooking, spending time at the Chesapeake Bay, and playing with their two dogs.
