Lisa brings more than 15 years of experience in the Upper Elementary program at Richmond Montessori School, having served as both a classroom assistant and RMS’s Reading Instructional Specialist. In each of these roles, she has shown a deep commitment to aligning instructional practices with Montessori pedagogy while supporting every child’s individual journey. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from James Madison University, a Special Education Certificate with an endorsement in Learning Disabilities from Old Dominion University, and a Reading Certificate from the American Montessori Society. Lisa has also participated in numerous Montessori-aligned professional development opportunities and will be pursuing her Montessori Upper Elementary Credential, reflecting her lifelong dedication to learning and growth.
