Tamara received her Bachelor of Music degree in French Horn Performance from James Madison University and her M.M. in French Horn Performance from the University of Memphis. She earned her certification to teach K-12 instrumental and vocal music from Virginia Commonwealth University. She taught music education K-5 in Chesterfield County Public Schools for 30 years. Tamara has also served as an area church music director of children and youth for over 20 years.
