Jill Floyd serves as a Lead Teacher in the Toddler program at Richmond Montessori School. This is her sixth year teaching toddlers and her third year at RMS. Before discovering her passion for Montessori education through parenting her own child, Jill worked in education research and traditional childcare settings. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wake Forest University, an M.Ed. in Applied Developmental Science from the University of Virginia, and an Infant & Toddler Montessori Diploma from the Prepared Montessorian Institute. Outside of the classroom, Jill enjoys spending time outdoors—especially near the water—along with running, reading, cooking, and listening to podcasts. She is also an RMS parent; her son, Benjamin, is beginning his first year in Lower Elementary.
